At first glance it appears as though Sex Station TV is little more than a sex chat line. The first thing you see on the home page is an ad to call in and talk with the hot girl on the camera (if there’s a show running). There are other ads all over the site asking you to call and chat with these chicks. There are cam babes advertised. But there’s little indication that they have any actual content you’d want to pay for until you visit the links for pictures and videos at the top of the page. Then you see their hotties looking awfully good.
For the most part the member’s main page of Sex Station TV is uncluttered. They have a few small ads at the top pushing the live shows and the chat lines on you but below that they get right to the pictures and videos. You click the beautiful babes you like best or you can hit up the different sections of the member’s area on the right side. It looks like there’s a whole lot of good stuff to check out so I’m excited.
There are 621 picture galleries at Sex Station TV and they list them 20 per page with a small thumbnail, the date the set was added and a brief description. The sets are mostly just hot girls showing off their hot bodies so you don’t need much information beyond how beautiful the model is. They have a list of all the models but it’s just the names. It’s basically useless. If they had provided a picture of each babe on that list page it would have been so much more helpful and useful to the consumers that spent money on their site.
They’re lacking a search function and a list of categories. The only way to browse the content is by the date it was added. They really should have given you some options here, even if it was limited to sorting the girls by their hair colour and breast size. I would have taken categorising the outfits too, since that tends to be important when producing solo babe content. All the chicks are hot and they have varying body types and since you no doubt have a favourite type it would have been nice to be able to separate them with ease.
The galleries have 15 – 100 pictures each and the only way to tell how much content you’re getting is to visit the page. They have all the thumbnails right there as soon as you click and you can choose to see the low resolution version (600 pixels) or the high resolution version (1800 pixels). The choice seems obvious to me. In those galleries the thumbnails are a little small, but otherwise they’re well organised and easy enough to use.
My greatest disappointment with Sex Station TV is that you can’t download the videos. They’re all streaming only. With more than 385 of them they have a nice big collection, but it’s so behind the times to not allow people to download your content that it baffles me. The videos are largely the same experience. It feels kind of disjointed and really needs categorisation. They do interviews with the girls and they parade them outdoors. Some of the videos are rather boring filmed versions of photo shoots where the babes parade around showing off their bodies for the camera.
Outside of the picture galleries and videos everything else at Sex Station TV is an ad. There are supposed to be bonus feeds, but they don’t work and there are only five sex stories so they’re almost worthless. The site appears to be set up to sell you on making phone sex calls and signing up for webcam shows. That’s all well and good but they’re really expensive and you’re not going to pay $30 per month just for the privilege of getting the number. It muddies the whole point of the site and makes it feel exploitative and annoying.
Sex Station TV is a little bit confusing because it doesn’t seem like they know what they want to give their members. They really want you to sign up for a webcam show or a chat on a sex line. They also want you to be able to check out their picture galleries, but they don’t give you any zip files to keep them. The movies are hot but they’re streaming only and they’re not particularly high quality. The women here are generally stunning but the site is only a little better than average because of the technological hurdles and the constant selling of expensive chat lines and cam shows. If they had been more focused it would have been more entertaining.
It seems like their only genuine goal is to separate you from your money. Everything else is just working towards that.
