You know that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach
when you know that you're doing something that, truth be told,
you really shouldn't? Well, that's how I felt as I clicked
on the 'join' button on UK
Student House.
The home page seems impressive enough, is well laid out and
has lots of big pictures to entice you in and start buying.
It also has a couple of free views but these seem limited
to the first page. However, there is a conspicuous spelling
mistake in the introduction to every page and it's things
like that which make me think that the webmasters haven't
paid attention to detail, or in this case, much attention
at all.
Well, I'm happy to report that I was absolutely right and
that you should always go with your gut instinct. UK
Student House is a really poor website.
There are five pages of movies, which seem almost unconnected
with college-age girls save the fact that they sometimes feature
a girl who looks to be as young as about 20. Not often though.
All of the pages look professional enough (bar the spelling
mistakes) at first glance. However, click on the menu option
and you're faced with a black page with 'take me to the movies'
option which just takes you back to the first page. Hmm, lots
of effort put into this site then.
If you manage to get right to the end of the site and click
on 'next' then you'll see an error page - the link is broken.
These are really schoolboy errors and there is no excuse.
It's indicative of someone who's buying in content and then
just letting people download one of about 25 big movie clips.
I'd be hugely surprised if many (or maybe any) people were
to renew after the first month. There is nothing to keep you
interested on the site or coming back for more.
Oh, and does anyone know which college course the internationally
famous porn star Angel Long is on? It's not as if she's just
been added to the site as a filler movie - her face is the
biggest on the home page and she's (currently) the first movie
you come across. If that isn't a good indication that UK
Student House doesn't actually feature students, I don't
know what is. It's standard porn fare. Nothing to write home
about and nothing that a hundred other sites won't do, but
with more content. There is no indication of how often the
site is updated with new content. It certainly didn't change
during the month I was subscribed.
The movies are a fair size (mostly about 100-200Mb) but the
download speed isn't great (about 60kb/s at its slowest),
so you'll be waiting a while. Unfortunately they don't even
have any photo sets or anything else for you to pass the time.
They haven't even been bothered to put up any sort of streaming
facility for instant access. On the plus side, after hitting
the download button you do have time to rustle up a snack
and make a cuppa before you settle down to watch.
The movies are pretty good, but you'd expect that from professional
porn. Angel Long has a couple of guys all to herself, Karlie
Simon has a few different movies and I counted at least three
different videos featuring Carmel Moore (again, which courses
are these girls on?). The scenarios range from young college
students who can't pay their rent and so shag their landlord
all the way through to…er… more young college girls who can't
pay their rent. To be fair, they do have some other descriptions
but when two of the movies on the front page mention the 'shag
away your debt' scenario, that's plain lazy.
So, all that said, is UK
Student House recommended? No. Absolutely not. Stay away.
